Three little pups, with furs plain
I try to focus on the email marked urgent
But with three little pups outside, all in vain
My mind runs free, imagination gallops
The world changes in the blink of an eye
Bubble, Double and Trouble, I name them
Two are playful, and one is shy
We live in a house by the beach
The salty sea smell lingers all day
We stay in bed all morning, cozy
A feast for lunch, in the evenings we play
Set out on Sundays for early drives
Our chauffeur my best friend, soulmate in disguise
A perfect family, an ideal life
Like a clear night, full of starry skies
But the rain stops, my phone buzzes
Only an hour till the deadline
I snap back to my reality
Leaving behind my world divine
